Pip! "Pip" Squeak. Also known as Pip Squeak Licks a Lot! Really surprised we are having to post Pip to the adoption sites after two events where people drooled and melted over her cuteness and AMAZING personality. I'm afraid everyone that wanted to adopt figured so many were applying that they lost hope and none applied. Pip had one application but distance is an issue as we aren't sure if their dog will like Pip's playfulness. Therefore, we must open her up to other family options right now.
About Pip: Pip came to us from Caddo Parish Animal Services. She was found and brought to the local open intake shelter. Her best friend at the shelter was a pitbull puppy but it got adopted. Staff asked us to take in Pip to find her an amazing family and get her out of the shelter. We couldn't resist. Vetting: Pip is spayed, heartworm negative and on 1 month trifexis for heartworm/flea/tick prevention. All dogs must stay on monthly heartworm prevention. Was wormed with strongid. Fecal done, given more dewormer. Up to date on shots and rabies (good for 1 year from date given). Microchipped under the rescue (see below for details). Personality: Amazing. Is that enough to say? haha. She is calm yet playful! At events she does great with everyone! At home she cuddles and plays! Good with dogs of all sizes! Good with kids! Good in a vehicle! When running in the yard and playing she will sometimes make barking yip noises hence her name Pip Squeak. Would love to find a home with other dogs to play with. Is to be kept indoors and monitored when outside! On leash if no fenced yard. Random fact... Pip even likes goats...she got to meet one! haha Will get videos to show personality. By having the animals microchipped under us it provides us with a definite option of the animal being safe if found. If the pet ever goes missing you can let us know as well so we may help find them. If we ever are called on the animal being found we will try our best for 2 weeks to get in contact with the owners (as you should also be trying to get in contact with us) and if the owner is not found after 2 weeks the animal is legally ours again via our contract. This is a GREAT safety precaution for loving families. It means you will have an awesome caring team devoted to reuniting you with your baby. We ourselves have found microchipped dogs that have been rehomed and ended up in shelters on a euthanasia list. We take this very seriously as we never want that to happen to any of our animals. We also require first option of taking an animal back if the home does not work out. You can consider us a forever family for the pets adopted from us.
