HISTORY: I (Chewie) came to the rescue because my family was moving and did not want to take me or my friend Stomper with them. Stomper was saved by a rescue volunteer when he was little, so that's how I got to tag along! Story: Stomper was initially acquired by one of our volunteers when he was a baby. His family was born under a house and dogs were trying to attack them. He was saved and later adopted. His adopters ended up having to move away and wanted to not bring some of their pets. When they called our volunteer, they asked her to take back Stomper AND Chewie. We now have both boys.
PERSONALITY: I am a bundle of fun. Foster mom says I'm playful but laid back. When a rescue volunteer came to take my pictures, I played with her with a toy and even nibbled on her hand. She thought I was ADORABLE. I love toys and windows. Lounging on the cat tree. Most likely will be good with considerate children.
*We also do not approve of declawing. We request that you research that. We have seen many cases where cats become irritable or stop using the litter box etc. and people try to surrender them to us. Vetting: Up to date on vaccinations and rabies vaccine. Kitty has been neutered. Dewormed. Tested for Fiv/FeLV/Hw and was negative. Will be Microchipped (that fee is included in adoption donation fee. It is a one time fee so no yearly expenses. We will register kitty on our end then you will check your email and check the registration. From there you will get reminders to update your information. Easy peasy) On 1 month revolution. REVOLUTION protects cats against fleas , heartworms , roundworms , hookworms, and ear mites . About Applying to Adopt: This kitty has a $60 adoption donation fee. (microchip fee is included) This fee generally NEVER covers how much we have actually spend on the animal. We are a 501c3 non profit so the fee goes back into our volunteer rescue to help us save more lives. We function solely on donations.
