Dolphin -female- I am a lucky girl because I was brought to a kill shelter as a bottle baby and the rescue saved me. I was the same age as the Ocean Crew, and their mommy accepted me as one of her own and let me join the family! I was so happy. I have a lighter coloring and cute orange speckles on my belly.

When I am available: Ocean Kittens will be 8 weeks old on Sunday, May 12th, 2022. They will have 2 set of vaccinations and should be able to go to their new home around that time! We are letting people pre-apply for which kitten they would like to adopt.

-------------

Family: Our current adoptable kitties being listed are as follows. Momma Kitten with the Ocean crew babies.  Starfish, Baby Shark, Turtle, Shrimp, and adoptive sibling Dolphin. We also have Mishka that helped raise baby Lizzy and then we have their friend baby Cherokee. Raising these families has been a joy and we are so excited for them to get their forever homes.

Born: Our Ocean Crew babies were born on Easter day April 17, 2022. Dolphin is estimated just a few days older than them. So we will call her born around April 13th.

History:  We were contacted by a local vet clinic that asked if we could help a sweet VERY pregnant girl! Vet saw at least 5 in xray   Momma is so young and tiny herself, they were calling her Momma Kitten, and the name was fitting to us as well! We decided her babies would have ocean critter names. Sadly, we lost our runt, Baby Orca. Around 4 weeks old we introduced an orphan kitten, baby Dolphin, to let her join the Ocean Crew. Our babies have enjoyed weekly pictures to watch them grow. Their mom is so very tiny and sweet.

What can I expect medical wise?

Kittens are current on age appropriate vaccines/deworm. Details will be sent to interested approved parties.

Microchip: Kitten will be microchipped. It is via Petlink and their are NO fees. It is a lifetime registration that has been covered by the rescue.

Spay/Neuter: The rescue will cover this fee and schedule the appointment. Kitten has spay/ neuter appointment set for when they are old enough.  Having the kitten spayed/neutered is mandatory and very important. Kittens can get pregnant as early as 4 months old! Rescue donations from kind people will cover this appointment as well as give them their rabies vaccine.

--------------------------

FULL MEDICAL BREAK DOWN: Kitten will have a $50 adoption donation with the following included: . Kittens will have had 2 sets of vaccines at 8 wks of age as well as sets of dewormer at the same time vaccines were given . Kitten will be microchipped with a Petlink life time registry that has been covered by rescue donations. Around 12 weeks of age, Kitten will be scheduled to be spayed/neutered and get its rabies vaccine. The rescue will cover the fee for this. We will set a date for everyone to show up at Robinsons Rescue to have this done. It is mandatory. If you have trouble with the drop off day or time, we will work with you.   NOTE: Dolphin has a type of scabbing on her nose as a baby. It left her with a different colored hair growing in, giving a unique color look around her nose.

For APPROVED applications we will have a non refundable $20 donation holding fee. Then at pick up you may donate the remaining $30, making a total of a $50 donation. Our rescue spends a lot more than that on each life, but it is a way to help give back some to go towards the next life we help. We are a 501c3 non profit that is 100% volunteer run. We function solely on donations from kind people.

HOW TO APPLY:  Go to  https://www.rockersrescue.org/info/adoption  Please include as much about yourself as possible. Some people applying like to send an email with pictures of their home/pets/ or family. We have added a place on our app for that but if you want to send by email it is , rockersrescue@gmail.com   Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!  Our Rockers Rescue pets are currently in foster homes that help us save lives. When you choose to adopt from a rescue, you help open space for us to save another life in need. Thank you for considering adoption!
