Be sure you see my FULL bio all the way to instructions on how to apply. Some sites only show a bit of bios.  My full bio can be found at www.rockersrescue.org Upon an approved application, we schedule a meet to see if yall are a great match.  Please do not apply unless you have good vet history and responsible pet ownership.

Available for trial run. At the end of the trial run, if you wish to adopt you may. Some dogs take longer to adapt to new people. Lilly is one of those dogs. She will need a patient and understanding home to work through this phase with her, then she will be a happy, hyper, bouncy, snuggly girl! She bonds greatly to the people she trusts and loves. Please see all her photos and the attached videos.

Lilly- 1yr old.  11-13lbs.   Breed: Lilly resembles a Chihuahua and Dachshund mix. We did a DNA test and found Lilly's top breeds to be: 36% Chihuahua. 20% Shih Tzu . 10% Pekingese. 6% Cocker Spaniel and 4% Lhasa Apso. She is short and long.

History: Lilly was originally from a hoarder home and was surrendered to a shelter that euthanizes for space. She was so scared at the shelter! They reached out for a rescue and we went to meet her. We picked up the trembling dog....and told her she was coming with us! Lilly had demodectic mange (non contagious). She was scared the first few days with us. We let her stay kenneled and take out to potty. In about 3 days she was brave enough to start adventuring out into the home. She will be the same way when adopted, take time to warm up.

Personality: Happy little puppy! Energetic. The pitter patter of feet trampling across your home, kisses to the face, happy bounces, snuggles, etc!  She will curl up on your lap or next to you while you're sitting on the sofa. She will attack your face with kisses.. She would love a home with another dog to play and snuggle with. She learned the "SIT" command (a 10yr old taught her) and she goes outside to potty.

HOARDER PUPS: Lilly is very sweet but will be nervous/shaky in new situations. Most hoarder pups have not had time to experience new things or people. She will take a while to trust new people but once she does, she is a happy trotting and sweet little girl! New home MUST be prepared for this transition phase and for her being nervous of new people.

Lilly is good with other dogs. She is also around cats and a 10yr old child. She is kenneled when we leave but sleeps in bed at night.  Her potty training has been going great, she even scratches at the door when she wants out at times.

Requires: Secure fenced yard and to only be outside when monitored. Must be leash walked in the fenced yard until she is comfortable with you and her surroundings. She is tiny and needs to be watched. Excellent vet history. Owner needs to be able to keep up with her energy. Prepared for a puppy! A home with no younger children. She is also a tripping hazard for seniors or anyone with mobility issues. Again, she needs someone able to keep up with her. She would love another dog to play and cuddle with.  She will not really enjoy going places and meeting new people. Someone settled is ideal.  She does bark at animals on the tv quite often, please forgive her, haha! We LOVE Lilly Jean.. We hope you may be the perfect match to spoil our girl.

We put multiple pictures and even videos up with each of our pets bios. Be sure you find those. On our website, the video link may be at the bottom of the bio. And there may be a "click here" button to see the rest of the pictures. Lilly has multiple pictures and videos on her profile.

Vetting: Spayed. Up to date on vaccinations and rabies. Heartworm test negative. Treated for tapeworms. Dewormed/ Negative fecal. On 6 month proheart injection for heartworm prevention. On Bravecto 3 month flea/tick prevention. Had weekly medicated baths to help her skin heal when she was rescued with demodectic mange (non contagious) and she had a negative skin scrape. Healthy active girl. Microchipped with PetLink chip, rescue has already paid the lifetime membership fee.
