Queenie
Female 2yrs old
Breed: Russian Blue/ DSH
Intake date: 10/4/22

History: Queenie was originally saved from being outdoors with kittens. They took her and the babies in. The babies later found homes but due to family circumstances, they said they would have to put Queenie back outside unaltered. Serendipity rescue stepped up to schedule her spay and we stepped up to take her under our wings. Queenie needed a lot of medical on intake and is now healthy and ready for a home.

Queenie is a very sweet and friendly kitty but is currently shy in new situations. When we got Queenie she was soon found to have tons of worms and a bad uti. That can make you not feel good at all.  She began treatment. Queenie would ideally love a quieter home at current. She will take time to warm up and then will be purring and rubbing on you for attention. Starting her in a bathroom or small room would be ideal while she learns she is safe and then she can explore your home when she is ready. This is a gorgeous and sweet girl that will make a family very happy. She LOVES attention and being pet on. You just need to put in the love and time to show her she is safe so she gets to that point.

Vetting: Fully vaccinated.  Fecal/dewormer given. Treated for roundworms and tapeworms. Treated for coccidia. Treated for bad UTI.   Will be microchipped via rescues Petlink with a Lifetime Registry (we have already covered the one time fee.)  FIV/FeLV tested and it was negative. Spayed.  On monthly flea/tick preventative. Had check up testing/fecals with vet to be sure uti and parasites are clear.

About Adoption: This Kitty has a $40 adoption donation fee for approved application. This fee in no way covers all of the donations used to help this animal but it does help add back a little to help with the next life. You can donate more if you wish.  We are a 501c3 non profit rescue that functions solely with volunteers and donations. If you want to read how our adoption process works, go to:       Adoption Process (rockersrescue.org)    otherwise, see below for the link to the application.
