Meet Bud, the Big Black Dog.

Bud found himself in the care of a local vet facility. They love him and want to find him a loving home or rescue, so we are helping them network Bud. While there he gave us lots of face kisses. He deserves a life of love!

Size/Breed: Bud is large. Currently 60lbs. He has long tall legs, a long curled tail, and little nubby ears. His stature from the side looks like that of a Lab or Greyhound mix. His exact breed can only be known via DNA testing (which runs around $80 via Wisdom Panel)

Age: Estimated around 6yrs old.

Weight: Currently around 60lbs. He does love to eat.

Activity level: When I met Bud, he was chill just walking around on the leash when I took him outside. He is a strong puller so that is to be noted for possible family. The vet clinic says that when off leash, he LOVES to run and play in the fenced area!  He is currently being kenneled, so a home environment would be a joy for him. He is such a happy boy that just wants a family to enjoy. His Christmas Give a Gift Buddy sent him presents and Bud loved his squeaky toy.

Other dogs: Bud will have to have a meet n greet with any other dogs in the home to see if they are a good match.

Vetting: Bud has been neutered by the clinic. He is utd on vaccinations, rabies, lepto vaccine and bordatella. Fecal was negative.  Bud is heartworm positive, if the adopter would like to continue slow treatment, the vet can provide a year of proheart injection and explain the slow treatment method.

Any interest of potential adoption of Bud will be between you and the vet clinic (located in Benton, Louisiana) as we are helping them network. If you would like to meet him that can be arranged!  Please email (rockersrescue@gmail.com) or message us if interested and we will provide their information. Thank you for any help in changing this big boys life! We have quickly grown to love him too!
