Lady - Domestic Medium Hair. Female ~1yr old.

NOTE: This kitty is currently an indoor kitty. She may prefer to stay indoors but would likely love to be indoors and also have a catio attachment to the home or kitty secured porch type situation to enjoy as well. She use to be outdoors and possibly an indoor/outdoor kitty. So whatever makes her the happiest and is safe for her.

History: Lady came to us from another animal rescue. They were aiding a situation where a senior citizen went into assisted living and sadly his outdoor kitty friends were left hungry and without their buddy. Lady was rescued from being alone there and made her way to the vet and then to us. Originally a Texas girl, she thinks Louisiana is okay too, haha.

Personality: When we got Lady, she was so very sweet and showed big potential to be an indoor kitty. She may have been indoor outdoor at one time. When she feels comfortable in her home, she loves to lounge around. Play with certain toys, likes to sit on furniture. She will come to you for attention at times and rub on you. She will also follow you around at times.

Medical - Spayed. (Has ear tip) Up to date on vaccinations. Fecal done negative. Fiv/felv testing negative. Monthly flea/tick prevention. Microchip: Pet is microchipped. It is via Petlink and there are NO fees. It is a lifetime registration and our rescue will have already paid for it with donations. Had a skin scrape done on intake to check a wound but it was all fine.

Note: We do not approve of declawing. So if you wish to do that, please do not apply. Older considerate kids only for this kitty.

ADOPTION: $40 adoption donation for approved application. Our rescue spends a lot more than this fee on each life, but it is a way to help give back some to go towards the next life we help. We are a 501c3 non profit that is 100% volunteer run. We function solely on donations from kind people. If you wish to donate more or continue following/supporting us over time, we would appreciate your continued love to help our organization save lives.

Adoption Process Summary: You apply. We will email or call if we have any questions. Upon app approval, we would schedule a day we all meet at PetSmart Shreveport or Hollywood Feed Shreveport. At that meet we would all make sure that you feel the pet is a good match for your home. If so, we run the adoption. You fill out our contract, pay your donation fee, and receive your folder with their medical records. You must bring a pet carrier to this appointment because your pet will go home with you that day if we all feel it is a great match. Woohoo! We take your adoption picture and you head off with your new furry friend! We can often provide adoption coupons too!
