The animals have multiple pictures and a video to view. We are located around Shreveport, Louisiana and generally meet at PetSmart Shreveport, or Hollywood Feed Shreveport.

Our "Drink Kittens" are adorable! Sweet Tea, Sunkist, Fanta, and Cola. They were rescued from a life of living outdoors and we can't wait for them to have cozy homes. Their mother is a beautiful calico we are having spayed. They were shy when coming to us, but our volunteer has been working with them and they are learning love. They are starting to greet her now and enjoy playing. Once they get into loving families they should blossom even more. Est Birthday is March 22. I will get new pictures tomorrow (5/17) Their current pictures are from last Wednesday. I will also see if their little personalities are showing more.

Sweet Tea- Female - Calico. She is our social star.

Sunkist- Male - Orange/White with orange on face. He is so cute. He adapts pretty quickly.

Fanta- Male- White/ Orange. He is our little shy boy but he's coming around. Super adorable

Cola- Male- White/Black Currently playful and more quiet like. Beautiful markings.

NOTE: Kittens should be able to go to approved applicant homes between the 24-26 of May (after we have a negative fecal and 2nd vaccine set) , otherwise will have to wait until June 7th due to volunteers going on trips.

Medical: Our kittens will have started their vaccine and deworm schedule. They will have had 2 sets of vaccines before leaving. Kittens usually get 3 to 4 sets of vaccines total to protect them from disease. Vets generally do each set 3 to 4 weeks apart so it is up to the adopter to speak with their vet regarding next sets. One kitten from litter was fiv/felv tested and it was negative. We will also be sure we have a negative fecal. Their first fecal showed roundworms so they are being treated for that and then we will re-fecal. Kitten will have kitten flea/tick prevention before leaving if they are big enough . When you adopt, you will get a folder with all of their medical records to bring to your vet. Kitten will have a scheduled spay/neuter date (see below) Microchip: Kitten will be microchipped. It is via Petlink and there are NO fees. It is a lifetime registration and our rescue will have already paid for it.

Spay/Neuter: We will schedule their spay/neuter at Robinsons Rescue in Shreveport for when the babies are large enough (around 3-4 months old) We will pay for the appointment unless you wish to. It is $38 for neuter and $48 for spay. An extra $10 for rabies if not done yet. (Generally, they get the rabies vaccine at this appointment due to their age.) The adopter would be responsible for getting them to and from this appointment. It has early drop off and pick up times. We try to help as able. If you are not local or wish to use a different place, you may schedule this appointment elsewhere with the rescues approval but it will be at your own expense. Having the kitten spayed/neutered is mandatory and very important. Kittens can get pregnant as early as 4 months old! We also see them recover much quicker the younger they are altered.

Note: We do not approve of declawing. So if you wish to do that, please do not apply. Keep in mind the financial needs for the kittens as they still need more sets of shots as they grow. This kitten is also to be indoors only. If you want an outdoors or indoor/outdoor kitty let us know and we can direct you.

ADOPTION: $80 adoption donation for approved application. $40 of that will be donated (non refundable) upon app approval. The other $40 will be donated on the adoption meet day. Our rescue spends a lot more than this fee on each life, but it is a way to help give back some to go towards the next life we help. We are a 501c3 non profit that is 100% volunteer run. We function solely on donations from kind people. If you wish to donate more or continue following/supporting us over time, we would appreciate your continued love to help our organization save lives. Adoption Process Summary: You apply. We will email or call if we have any questions. Upon app approval, we would schedule a day we all meet at PetSmart Shreveport or Hollywood Feed Shreveport. At that meet we would all make sure that you feel the pet is a good match for your home. If so, we run the adoption. You fill out our contract, pay your donation fee, and receive your folder with their medical records. You must bring a pet carrier to this appointment because your pet will go home with you that day if we all feel it is a great match. Woohoo! We take your adoption picture and you head off with your new furry friend! We can often provide adoption coupons too!
