We are located around Shreveport, Louisiana and generally meet at PetSmart Shreveport, or Hollywood Feed Shreveport.

Oak, Aspen, and Birch are our "Tree Babies" They came to us before a big storm with 80mph winds. Aspen and Birch are brothers. Oak is a female loner kitten that was found around the same time, so she got to join the family as a "sibling". All are litter box trained and friendly with other kitties. They are currently eating purina indoor kitten chow. They are in a foster home with a dog, but that dog is rather pushy so they tend to just avoid her. Foster home also has a 10yr old child that handles them regularly. They love to cuddle in her lap. In general they can be a bit bashful with some things but when comfortable they are very loving. Below, we will describe the 3:

Oak- started off as the smallest and most shy. She is turning into a lovey cuddle bug. She will come up to her people for attention now. She will nuzzle them and cuddle up by them or in their face! haha. She can still has some nervous tendencies here and there (will have an adjustment period in new home) but you can expect her to blossom and enjoy lovins! When she really wants that attention, she will pull your hand back to her if you stop and nibble and lick your fingers, haha! She loves to play and enjoys the other kitty friends. Oak has very short fur that is lighter in color compared to the others.

Aspen- Aspen started off as our most adventurous kitten. He enjoyed hanging out in a hammock at the adoption event we had when he was tiny. He can still be a bit shy, not huge on being picked up, but definitely comes around for attention when he wants to. Aspen will kindly rub against you while youre petting him. Hes very playful and loving and enjoys doing his own thing. If he's playing and you go to pet him, he usually eats that up and enjoys it. Loves toys and playing with other kitties.

Birch- started off as our biggest kitten. Birch can also be bashful at times but he comes for attention when he wants it and likes interaction. Him and Aspen kindly share the same personality. Birch is our darkest of the 3. He is very sweet and affectionate when you give him attention. He will rub on your hand and push against you.

If you would like you may apply for a specific one you may, or you can state you would like to meet them all to pick who feels like a great match. For approved apps we can bring multiple kittens to the meet. These babies are currently shy so they would need a caring home. We are working on getting them more and more brave.

Medical: Has 3 sets of kitten vaccines FVRCP. Rabies vaccine. All are spayed/neutered. Dewormed/ Negative fecal reading prior to adoption. Fiv/felv test negative. On monthly flea/tick prevention . When you adopt, you will get a folder with all of their medical records to bring to your vet. Kitten will be microchipped. It is via Petlink and there are NO fees. It is a lifetime registration and our rescue will have already paid for it.

Note: We do not approve of declawing. So if you wish to do that, please do not apply. Keep in mind the financial needs for the kittens as they still need more sets of shots as they grow. This kitten is also to be indoors only. If you want an outdoors or indoor/outdoor kitty let us know and we can direct you.

ADOPTION: $40 adoption donation for approved application. Our rescue spends a lot more than this fee on each life, but it is a way to help give back some to go towards the next life we help. We are a 501c3 non profit that is 100% volunteer run. We function solely on donations from kind people. If you wish to donate more or continue following/supporting us over time, we would appreciate your continued love to help our organization save lives.

Adoption Process Summary: You apply. We will email or call if we have any questions. Upon app approval, we would schedule a day we all meet at PetSmart Shreveport or Hollywood Feed Shreveport. At that meet we would all make sure that you feel the pet is a good match for your home. If so, we run the adoption. You fill out our contract, pay your donation fee, and receive your folder with their medical records. You must bring a pet carrier to this appointment because your pet will go home with you that day if we all feel it is a great match. Woohoo! We take your adoption picture and you head off with your new furry friend! We can often provide adoption coupons too!
