We are located around Shreveport, Louisiana and generally meet at PetSmart Shreveport, or Hollywood Feed Shreveport.

NOTE: Our Valentine babies are going to our vet on Valentines day for a check up! They should be ready to go to new homes around Feb 20th if they are doing good. We can accept pre-apps now. Any approved apps must wait to meet the kitten until around the 20th after their next vaccine set.

Kittens Born: Christmas Eve, Dec 24, 2023

Story: Momma Val was found in a hotel going door to door greeting people! She was making friends. She ended up rescued by Bossier City Animal Control and later gave birth at the shelter. She had 5 babies but sadly 2 passed away. A rescue up north had tagged the family and they waited for weeks to go there. Unfortunately, they didnt pass the health certificate and they couldn't go. The kittens ended up sick and needed care. Our rescue goes weekly to help network the cats at the shelter, so in the end we decided the family would come under us! We named our new Rockers babies Momma Val, Cupid, Truffle, and Lovebug.

Momma Val- Calico. A super sweet kitty that loves attention and even lets you hold her like a baby. Good at purring. Est under 1yr old.

Cupid- The orange/white kitten. Male. At certain angles and with his hair brushed just right...Cupid can have a heart on his side which is so cute. It's not always prominently there but its cute when it is! He's been our smallest kitten so far in the group. We are hoping we will hit a growth spurt soon.

Truffle- The calico kitten. Female. She is our current most adventurous kitten.

Lovebug- The white/black kitten. Female. She is our current most quaint and quiet baby.

All 3 kittens are so funny as they’re getting use to lots of human interaction. They aren’t so much scared as they’re just unsure and nervous. When you sit them down they just go limp like a possum half the time Poor babies will get the hang of things soon! New owner can expect them to possibly be on the more shy side at first and be prepared to spoil each with lots of love! We are working on the pre-spoiling stage now and trying to build up their confidence. At just a few weeks old, the babies have been getting the hang of the litterbox too. We do suggest starting little kittens in a small space for their safety in the new home, as well as to help them learn where the litterbox and food/water is.

Medical: Will have multiple kitten vaccine sets. (Vets give 3-4 sets, each set being a certain amount of weeks apart.) Babies are too young for the rabies vaccine, so they usually get that at their spay neuter appointment which is explained below. Dewormed/ Negative fecal reading. Mom tested fiv/felv negative. On monthly flea/tick prevention as soon as big enough for it. Treated for upper respiratory infection. When you adopt, you will get a folder with all of their medical records to bring to your vet. Kitten will be microchipped. It is via Petlink and there are NO fees. It is a lifetime registration and our rescue will have already paid for it. Spay/Neuter - Kitten is required to be spayed/neutered by 6 months of age. Our rescue generally covers this fee at Robinsons Rescue unless the adopter would like to donate toward it ($38-$48 and $10 for rabies vaccine unless already done) The adopter will have to bring the kitten to the appointment. We schedule it for you.

Note: We do not approve of declawing. So if you wish to do that, please do not apply. Keep in mind the financial needs for the kittens as they still need more sets of shots as they grow. This kitten is also to be indoors only. If you want an outdoors or indoor/outdoor kitty let us know and we can direct you.

ADOPTION: $60 adoption donation for approved application. Our rescue spends a lot more than this fee on each life, but it is a way to help give back some to go towards the next life we help. We are a 501c3 non profit that is 100% volunteer run. We function solely on donations from kind people. If you wish to donate more or continue following/supporting us over time, we would appreciate your continued love to help our organization save lives.

Adoption Process Summary: You apply. We will email or call if we have any questions. Upon app approval, we would schedule a day we all meet at PetSmart Shreveport or Hollywood Feed Shreveport. At that meet we would all make sure that you feel the pet is a good match for your home. If so, we run the adoption. You fill out our contract, pay your donation fee, and receive your folder with their medical records. You must bring a pet carrier to this appointment because your pet will go home with you that day if we all feel it is a great match. Woohoo! We take your adoption picture and you head off with your new furry friend! We can often provide adoption coupons too!
